Vitruviuss had the opportunity to take on Tight Squeeze Juice Bar as a full design and build project, creating a modern, functional, and inviting space tailored to the client's vision. This project was especially rewarding because the client provided a blank canvas, allowing our creative team to explore bold and innovative design solutions with complete freedom.

From the outset, Tight Squeeze Juice Bar was envisioned as a modern, upscale destination for health-conscious Houstonians. To reflect this vision, we developed a sleek, minimalist interior that stands out while maintaining a design that could be replicated across future locations. By pairing a neutral gray, black, and white color scheme with vibrant artistic elements, the space communicates both sophistication and energy—key attributes of the brand’s identity.

One of the key design enhancements was reconfiguring the existing storefront to incorporate indoor/outdoor seating. To achieve this, we introduced functional operable windows and double countertops, enhancing customer interaction, increasing seating capacity, and improving operational efficiency. This transformation not only optimized the use of space but also created a more engaging and dynamic environment for customers.

One of the standout features of this project is the hidden bathroom door that blends seamlessly into the mural. Achieving this required meticulous attention to detail and innovation. We sourced a custom frameless door to ensure no edges disrupted the flow of the artwork. The result? A functional yet invisible entryway that enhances the visual harmony of the space.

Beyond aesthetics, our approach focused on efficient space planning, high-quality finishes, and durable materials to withstand heavy foot traffic. Custom millwork and strategic lighting were incorporated to complement the brand’s fresh and vibrant identity while maintaining a seamless flow between the interior and exterior.
