When it comes to designing a retail space like La Real Michoacana, the customer’s journey takes center stage. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure a seamless flow, starting with how customers enter the store, where they line up to order, and where they enjoy their ice cream and fruit. To guide the flow, we incorporated creative round floor decals that subtly direct customers from the entrance to the order counter.

At the heart of the design was the sleek and modern service counter, crafted from clean, durable quartz. This material not only elevates the aesthetic but also ensures longevity in a high-traffic environment. Behind the counter, subway tiles arranged in a striking double herringbone pattern added a contemporary twist to the classic material, making it both functional and eye-catching.

The seating area at La Real Michoacana is a standout feature. We divided the space into three distinct arches, each representing a different flavor of ice cream with its own unique color palette, furniture, and theme. These zones gave customers a playful yet modern setting to sit, relax, and enjoy their treats while snapping Instagram-worthy photos. The attention to detail in this design helps create a space that customers want to return to—not just for the ice cream but for the atmosphere.
